"The Penguin" at the Bottom of the World

When Thom Gilligan, of Marathon Tours and Travel, asked if I'd like to run with some penguins, I said, of course!

Later, he explained that the penguins were in Antarctica, and the only way to get there was by boat.

Like any journey to Antarctica, this one was filled with mystery, uncertain moments, and just plain not knowing what to do.

In the end, though, everyone on the trip understood better why Antarctica is called the Last Continent.

Penguin Wisdom
It is clear to me now that I will never have a runner's body. Instead I will have a runner's soul.
