Project Iceberg...Antarctica: The Last Marathon!

On January 28th John and Karen Bingham, four members of the Penguin Brigade, and 135 other runners left the U.S. to run the Last Marathon in Antarctica on February 5th. Click here for John's full report (complete with spectacular photos!) of their trip, the unexpected developments in the race, and the group's Antarctic adventures.

All haave been preparing in different parts of the country, in their own distinctive way. Mary's taken to snowshoeing in Detroit, Karen's trail running in Tennessee, and John....well, John had never seen a photo of a polar explorer who didn't have a beard, so he decided to grow one just for this event!) Join us during this adventure!
